Event Highlights
All proceeds and donations from the event stay right here in Southern Maryland, helping to care for our most needy residents.
Family-Friendly
Enjoy the North Beach boardwalk with the entire family. There will be activities for all ages from free face painting and bubbles, to cheering on your favorite local dragon boat team.
Local Vendors
Food and Craft vendors from local businesses participate in the festival so you can enjoy your favorite local cuisine while you watch the races!
Festival Merch
Who doesn’t love a themed t-shirt? This year’s merch design will be revealed in May and will be available for purchase the day of the festival. You’ll be able to represent your favorite event all year long!
Live Action Racing & Awards
Team races happen all day long! There are Cup Races for similar businesses to compete. The first place team of the day will receive a Trophy! The day wraps up with a fun awards ceremony to celebrate the participating teams.

- June 1: Full Registration Balance Due
- May 27 at 6PM: Team Captains Meeting
- Week of June 8: Course Setup (and Course Teardown)
- June 10-11: Team Practice Days
- June 13: Race Day!
- Securing Your Team
- Team registration is $1500.
- Team captains, in order to secure your team spot in the festival, you must put down a deposit of $500 before May 1, 2026. This will allow you to choose your team t-shirt color, practice night, and tent location.
- The remaining team registration balance is due by June 1, 2026.
- Becoming A Team Captain
- Download and read the Team Captain Packet. This packet includes all paper forms needed for the registration process and important deadlines you will need to build your team. Please read through even if you have been a Team Captain in the past – we have several great updates!
- Fill out the Registration form for your team.
