Our mission

To end hunger and empower futures in Southern Maryland, one family at a time.

Founded in 2009 as End Hunger in Calvert County and now also doing business as Community Harvest Network. We are still located in Huntingtown, Maryland and continue to develop big-picture solutions alongside our donors, volunteers, and partners — supporting the individuals and families we serve on their path toward self-sufficiency.

Delegate Mark Fisher recognized CHN with an Official Citation from the Maryland General Assembly for devoted service to combat food insecurities and supporting those in need within our community. Presented to Brian Martin, CEO, and Lynette Entzian, COO of CHN during Republic Services Corporate Volunteer Day with Molly McWilliams, Area VP–Mid Atlantic, and Michael Davis, General Manager.

Help local families thrive

40% of food-insecure families don't qualify for federal relief.

Many of our neighbors earn just enough to fall outside programs like SNAP — yet not enough to consistently put nutritious food on the table. You can help stand in the gap.
